First things first.
I know everyone wants to create more power or aka have the ability to hit bombs off the tee.
The key idea here is most golfers: weekend warriors, corporate executives and even amateurs are not ready for more power.
My motto is “Do NOT put fitness on dysfunction?”
My simple checklist:
1. Ankle Flexibility
2. Knee Stability
3. Can you touch your toes
4. If so, can you squat correctly
5. Can you create separation in your upper and lower body
It’s important to know the sequence before power flexilibity, mobility, stability, strength then power. If you break the chain you break yourself.
Developing power is using your legs to transfer energy. Increasing flexibility to store up/coil up the energy and then releasing it is the key.
If you want more information come in for an assessment.
